About Julie Goldman, MD

Julie Goldman, MD, is an experienced ophthalmologist with the team at Chicago Glaucoma Consultants - CGC Eye Center, practicing out of their office in Glenview, Illinois. Dr. Goldman manages patients with a wide variety of ocular conditions, with a particular focus on cornea pathology. 

Dr. Goldman is a graduate of Harvard College, where she studied psychology and cognitive development. She then worked as a financial analyst for a magazine publishing company before pursuing post-baccalaureate studies and enrolling in medical school at Columbia University.

She completed her transitional year internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts, then moved to Chicago for her residency in ophthalmology at Illinois Eye & Ear Infirmary through the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC).

Dr. Goldman furthered her training with a cornea and external disease fellowship at UIC, during which she received training in corneal transplantation, LASIK and PRK, diagnosis and management of dry eye disease, corneal crosslinking, keratoprosthesis, limbal stem cell transplantation, and ocular surface neoplasia, among others.

In her spare time, Dr. Goldman enjoys traveling, cooking, crafting, running, and spending time with her cat, Gus.
